It’s a holiday week & we all are busy. But if you aren’t frantically cleaning windows or doing your taxes, and you happened to be in New York City, there are two interesting photographic events taking place this week.

James Nachtwey has two exhibitions this month:

The Sacrifice series is exhibited at 401 Projects, 401 West Street, at Charles Street, West Village NYC runs through April 24.(includes his photographs of soldiers and medics from Iraq)

World Free of TB runs through April 27 in the visitor’s lobby of the United Nations, 1st Avenue at 46th Street, Manhattan NYC (closed April 6). It is a heart breaking series of photographs taken in South East Asia and Africa documenting AIDS related tuberculosis epidemic.
